The Observation object is one of four Information categories in Intrasis. The Category usually consists of five Classes and they describe Objects that are collected from or observed in Context objects, or other Observation objects at an excavation.
The five Observation classes are:
Find (Class number 15) describes collected and classified Artifacts or Ecofacts.
Sample (17) describes Objects that are an amount of matter collected to be analyzed in order to answer one or more Questions.
Sample analysis (18) describes Objects that are the Analysis result of analyzed Samples.
Measurement value (19) describes Objects that are the result of a Measurement observation that can be described with one or more Measurement values.
